Red Ribbon Week is October 25-29!

This year's Red Ribbon Week is October 25-29 and Frankford has so many fun activities planned for our students, including daily dress-up themes and Friday's extended lunch! See the information below so your student can join in and support being drug-free!

 Daily Dress-Up Themes

  • Monday, October 25: Slip Away from Drugs -- Wear PJs
  • Tuesday, October 26: “Lei” Off The Drugs -- Wear Tropical/Hawaiian
  • Wednesday, October 27: Hide Away From Drugs -- Wear Camouflage
  • Thursday, October 28: Let’s Say No To Drugs -- Wear Red
  • Friday, October 29: Scare Away Drugs -- Wear a School-Appropriate Costume (No Hoods, No Face Covering Masks, No Inflatables)

Extended Lunch is back on Friday, October 29!

Celebrate the end of another great Red Ribbon Week with Extended Lunch! On Friday, October 29, your student can purchase the following fun treats during an extended lunch period:

  • Pizza for $2 a slice
  • Soda, candy, chips, and pickles for $1 each
  • Ice cream and popsicles for $2 each

Please send $1 bills with your student to make collecting payment easier. Thank you!

The Reflections deadline is coming up soon!

Reflections is a national art program sponsored by the National PTA that provides an opportunity for students to create a work of art that conveys a theme or a message. Frankford students who participate are recognized at the school level and could be recognized for their work at potentially at the district and even state levels. Students may enter as many times as they like in as many categories as they choose!

Our Frankford PTA Food/Clothing Hygiene Drive is open!

Frankford community, our school is looking for extra help getting the following food and clothing items items to our families in need.


Most needed clothing items: 

  • Toothpaste
  • Shampoo and conditioner
  • Lotion
  • Soap
  • Deodorant
  • Socks and underwear (new in original package; all sizes needed) 
  • Sweatshirts (girls and boys - new; all sizes needed)

Most needed food items:

  • Tomato sauce
  • Canned fruit
  • Rice
  • Beans

Earn money for Frankford PTA while helping the environment! 

Are you cleaning your closets for the fall and winter and wondering what to do with your used items? Help the environment and Frankford PTA by bringing your gently used items to the World Wear Project blue bin in the parking lot!


You can donate gently used shoes, clothing, purses, belts, wallets, hats, caps, backpacks, hard toys, stuffed animals, and even pots and pans. Plus, for every pound you bring to the blue bin, Frankford PTA receives a $0.15 donation!

Frankford Student Athletic Wear is on sale!

All 7th and 8th Graders participating in Frankford Athletics—make sure to purchase your 2021-2022 athletic wear here!


All student athletes must wear practice wear during the athletic class period. Practice wear includes a gray t-shirt and navy shorts. 


General athletics gear is available for purchase at any time throughout the year.  Sport-specific items will be for sale after the parent meeting for each sport.

Plano ISD's Parent Education Engagement Program (PEEP) education builds parents' capacity to support and nurture their children's physical, social-emotional and academic development through the acquisition of knowledge and parenting skills.
