Elected Officers
President
Coordinates the work of the FMS PTA officers and committees. Presides at all FMS PTA meetings. Appoints committee chair and serves on the Scholarship Committee.

1st Vice President - Programs
Coordinate all program-related activities of the PTA; hold a Welcome Back/Meet and Greet with the Principal; support the following committee chairs: STEAM, Community Outreach, Cultural Diversity, 8th Grade Celebration, Fall Social, SOAR/Student Incentives

2nd Vice President - Membership
Promote membership in the PTA by enrolling new members and maintain a current PTA membership list and directory; ensure that membership lists and dues are sent to Texas PTA no later than the appropriate reporting dates; educate the school community about state membership awards and encourage meeting the standards for those awards; coordinate all communication of the PTA; chair the annual Life Membership Awards committee; support the following chairs: Communications/Social Media, Website, Scholarship Committee Chair

3rd Vice President - Volunteers
Coordinate all volunteer activities of the PTA; solicit and train new volunteers (using training materials as necessary); collaborate with each chair to create volunteer sign ups and obtain the sufficient number of volunteers for each event; support the following chairs: Teacher/Staff Appreciation and Celebrations, Hospitality, Admin Volunteers (Copy Room), Beautification.

4th Vice President - Ways & Means
Coordinate all funding activities of the PTA; support the following chairs: Athletics, Spirit Wear, Business Partnerships/Falcon Friends, School Supplies, Book Fair, Extended Lunch/Game Snack Sales

Secretary
Records and distributes the minutes of each FMS PTA meeting and distributes meeting notices to the board. Updates PTA mailboxes and reads correspondence at monthly meetings.

Treasurer
Maintains accounting books and records including bank statements, receipts, budgets, and invoices. Presents financial reports at FMS PTA meetings and disburses PTA funds. Serves as Chairman of the Budget Committee. Files necessary tax documents. Responsible for purchasing required insurance.

Parliamentarian
Attends meetings and has on hand bylaws, standing rules and accepted order of business. Coordinates the Bylaws Committee for the review and/or revision of the established bylaws and standing rules. Appointed to review the monthly bank statements.

STEAM Chair
Promote participation in the National PTA Reflections program and coordinate all Frankford Middle School entries including judging and recognition of participants, coordinate with the school Science Department to award trophies to Science Fair winners.

Coordinate community outreach activities, seek out opportunities for various drives throughout the year.

Coordinate Cultural Diversity Night activities with Frankford staff.

Coordinate and update PTA social media, coordinate distribution of PTA and school-related information in newsletters and through special announcement emails.

Update and monitor the PTA website.

Organize and execute Teacher Appreciation Week events, coordinate birthdays and other important events for teachers and staff.

Coordinate with the Athletic Director and other coaches to develop designs, purchase, and sell spirit wear for specific sports, receive orders from vendors, sort, and deliver for coaches to distribute to students.

Coordinate the design, printing, sales, and distribution of Frankford Middle School spirit wear.

Business Partnerships/Falcon Friends Chair
Coordinate and publicize Spirit Night events, coordinate and publicize ongoing relationships with corporate partners.

8th Grade Celebration Chair
Coordinate the event celebrating the outgoing 8th graders.

Organize a social event in the fall semester.

SOAR Chair
Partner with the school to promote a student positive behavior program, organize quarterly SOAR stores for students to redeem SOAR Bucks awarded for positive behavior.

Scholarship Committee Chair
Communicate with counselors at all senior high schools to advertise the scholarship to Frankford alumni, ensure that guidelines described in the Alumni Scholarship section of these Standing Rules are followed.

Coordinate a back-to-school and a holiday luncheon for teachers and staff.

Coordinate, schedule, and train volunteers for Copy Room assistance as needed.

Coordinate the distribution of student school supplies and facilitate the school supplies sales.

Extended Lunch/Game Snack Sales Chair
Partner with Frankford Middle School to schedule Extended Lunch dates and negotiate a portion of the proceeds, schedule snack sale volunteers at home sports games, manage the stock of the snack carts for home sports games.
