Volunteer with Frankford Helping Hands!

We would like to introduce a new program, Frankford Helping Hands, which will give you the opportunity to help around the school on a weekly basis in areas we've found could use some assistance while providing positive connections with the students. A simple smile and a "Good Morning" can go a long way!

Our teachers and staff would love a friendly smile and a helping hand to make certain times of the day run more smoothly and ultimately make a positive impact. Our first opportunity is with Morning Greeters on Tuesday and Thursday mornings during student arrival.

Click here to pick a date that works for you.

Your time, whether you can help out once or several mornings, is always appreciated!

As a reminder, all PISD volunteers must complete their annual volunteer registration and background check through https://plano.voly.org/.

Questions? Please contact Rosie Rodriguez, VP Volunteers, at volunteers@frankfordpta.org. Thank you for giving some of your time to help us soar together as a community!

The FMS SOAR Store Takes Flight Again Soon!

Mark your calendars for the remaining Fall 2022 SOAR Store dates!

  • Friday, October 21
  • Friday, November 4
  • Friday, November 18
  • Friday, December 9

The SOAR store will be open on these Fridays from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. for students to use their SOAR Bucks earned in class to buy fun items and sweet treats.

To make this a smooth process every time, we will need plenty of volunteers to help run the SOAR Store.

>> Click here to volunteer to help at the SOAR Store! <<

When signing up, please indicate the grade level of your student in the comments. We will do our best to place volunteers at their student’s grade level hallway, but depending on volunteer numbers, we may need you to help students in a different area.

Questions? Please contact Lysbet Zimmerman, SOAR Store Chair, at Soar@frankfordpta.org. Thank you for your support!
